After years of giving what my daughter called “daily TED talks” to my team, I discovered why most leaders fail at innovation: they’re trying to be the genius in the room instead of building the room where genius happens.

That insight transformed everything for me. Instead of being the expert with all the solutions, I began creating the scaffolding that empowered teams to ask better questions and discover breakthrough solutions themselves. This shift helped us 3x revenue to $1.6B at Merlin and pioneer the industry’s first generative AI music licensing deal.

My path was unconventional: brand designer to technology lawyer to music executive to tech platform dealmaker to global CEO. Each role taught me that traditional leadership fails when it treats people like execution machines instead of creative engines.

I’ve used these techniques to transform teams to navigate AI disruption, build creative cultures, and energize organizations.

I am a CEO Operator, Board Member, Strategic Advisor, and Speaker.
